Deadliest Warrior

So just a short post as I get settled back in San Jose; yes, I made it back alive. I'll have a longer post later. In either case, while I was home, I came across the most awesome show on Spike TV, Deadliest Warrior. Basically they take warriors from history, and try to figure out who would win in a fight. Here's a sample clip from Ninja vs Spartan, guess who will win before you watch the clip.


I also hope one day they'll do a Ninja vs Pirates and settle this long lasting debate once and for all. In either case, I'm totally hooked on the show.

They've done a Knight vs. Pirate ... it was pretty sweet.

Sometimes the Comments section on your blog has a CAPTCHA and sometimes it doesn't ... usually when it does it doesn't like me, despite entering the code as shown ... very odd.

I think Knight vs Pirate is a bit of a mismatch because the technological differences between the two is too great. Basically you're taking a warrior from the medieval era, and taking on a warrior from the age of gunpowder.

They were harping on the fact that pirates didn't have armour, so they're probably not going to be a match against knights, but the fact is, with the rise of gunpowder, it rendered armour obsolete.

I didn't think that was a really fair fight. As for the CAPTCHA's, they show up after a certain number of days as spammers usually attack after the blog page has been indexed in a search engine.
