Anyway, here's the news story about Paul Martin at UVIC:

He was at the new medical building making his announcements about health care.
My bus passed by the parking lot near the medical building, and I saw that the parking lot was blocked off by campus security. I thought, that was wierd. Here we have a perfectly good parking lot, and there's no cars in it. Then I saw a police ghost van flash its lights at the campus security manning the parking lot blockade, and they let him through. Then I noticed there were three Liberal coach busses in the parking lot. There were a handful of RCMP there too. I thought, oh this must be Paul Martin. Meh, whatever.
The first thing that went through my head was, boy security is rather lax. It's nothing like what the Americans do for their president
