This is just a whirlwind summary of the long weekend. On Friday, we helped our former youth pastor move as he's heading for Kamloops. Kind of a sad occasion. In either case, we managed to pack an entire U-Haul truck in less than three hours. We were super fast. One of the guys that was helping turned out to be one of the guys that helped install the audio/video equipment in the new building I work in.
Saturday was Canada Day, and I hung out with Adam in the afternoon. We fixed my rear view mirror in the car because it fell off, and then we played a little World of Warcraft. Afterwards, we picked up Sarah from work and we headed to Elk Lake for a few hours. We sat around working on our tans. Got bored, so we broke out the cellphone and played games on it. I set a new record in Tetris. Cleared 40 lines in 116 seconds

.
For dinner, I was supposed to choose a restaurant, so I suggested White Spot. Everyone complained that it was too generic. Fine, I'm going to play the wild card. Sushi! This was supposed to make the first choice more attractive. Surprisingly, they went for it, they wanted to try sushi. In my wildest dreams, I never thought we'd go.
So we headed to Yoshi Sushi, and we ordered newbie rolls (ie fairly tame, cooked rolls). Afterwards, we went downtown and met up with Myron. We were able to get awesome seats at the Undersea Garden's dock because Sarah works there. Best seats yet for Canada Day. P.S. All the ladies love Myron <8 <8 <8.
Sunday, we had a special family dinner because my dad's brother from Hong Kong was visiting. These meals, they tend to go all out. We had a crap load of shrimp and baked salmon. Afterwards, we went out and watched Nacho Libre. If you liked Napolean Dynamite, you'll like this movie. It looked and felt very similar. I'm seeing a trend of better family friendly movies that are coming out, that are enjoyable to both adults, kids, and adults who are still kids (me!).
In either case, now I'm catching up on course readings and what not. Fun. Anyway, very relaxing long weekend. Stock markets have also been rallying upwards, so that's a load off my mind.
Happy Canada Day All!
